September saw several familiar names continue to dominate the mobile games market, while a number of newer titles made an impact in the trending charts.

According to AppMagic, Honor of Kings was the highest-grossing mobile game worldwide in September, generating $113.9 million in revenue. Tencent’s title was followed by Gossip Harbor: Merge & Story, which brought in $87.3 million, while Roblox ranked third with $85.1 million.

Royal Match took fourth place, generating $81.3 million, with MONOPOLY GO! rounding out the top five at $69.3 million. The figures highlight the continued strength of established mobile gaming franchises, with all five titles generating tens of millions of dollars during the month.

The trending games chart tells a different story, showcasing titles experiencing significant growth in September. Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle topped the ranking, followed by Bulldozer Master: Crush & Mine. Moto Wheelie: Traffic Bike 3D, Colony Flow!, and 嘎嘎特攻 completed the top five trending games.

Together, the two rankings offer a snapshot of the mobile games landscape in September: established hits continued to command substantial revenue, while a new group of titles gained momentum and climbed the rankings.
